Knitwear trends to wear this Autumn

Hello Autumn.

Hard to believe that time flies so fast, and here we are, slowly approaching the cosy knitwear season with dark evenings and cold air outside.

Nevertheless, Autumn is a great season for us to experiment with layers and heavier textures. One of the first thing that comes in our mind when we talk about Autumn are knitwears. It’s like a bear hug, a cup of tea and an evening by the fire, all rolled into one. With many styles, colours and materials, we have plenty of room to make our outfit stand out this Autumn.

To kickstart sweater season in style, here are 5 knitwear trends I adore.

1) Knitted vests

Knitted vests are set to be just as popular as they were last winter. Pared-back styles may have dominated 2020, but in 2021, prepare to take the trend to the next level with retro weaves in bright colours. You can layer them with your shirts or even wear them alone. NA-KD is a great destination to pick your timeless and fashionable statements, including Autumn knitwear clothing.

Below I am wearing my new NA-KD beige ribbed top with NA-KD classic black blazer. Absolutely love this thin ribbed knitted top, as it is perfect for those Autumn transition days. NA-KD have many great choices for a timeless wardrobe, so make sure to check them out.

2) Knit sets and co-ords

When in doubt, opt for a knit co-ord. Not only are they super comfy and the perfect seasonal update to your WFH loungewear situation, but they also look polished and offer multiple outfits in one. Win-win!

3) Knit dresses

Knit dresses are far more sophisticated than your typical oversized jumper. We’re wearing ours with knee-high boots and faux leather trench coats while it’s still warm enough.

4) Cutouts

Who said knitwear needs to be boring? Thinner knitwear looks even great with detailed cutout details, such as this NA-KD cut out back sweater. They look chic and perfect for your daytime as well as an evening out.

5) Classic turtleneck

You can’t go wrong with a classic turtleneck. What more to say about them. We all should have at least one turtleneck jumper in our closets.
