February marks the end of the summer time in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore it is a suitable time to visit places in Argentina and Chile. To be specific, visit the beautiful Patagonia region. Usually end of January of beginning of February is Lunar New Year or so called Tết.  The word is a shortened form of Tết Nguyên Đán, which is Sino-Vietnamese for "Feast of the First Morning of the First Day" This is the most important celebration in the Vietnamese culture and the whole country is buzzing. The preapration for this day starts about 2 weeks before the day. The streets are all decorated by flags, lanterns or flowers. This is actually a flower season for Vietnam. Hence you'll find many flower markets and decorations around. Visit Vietnam in February to experience this big celebration as well as enjoy the mild and warm weather throughout.
